The Cocoknits yarn snips were designed based on the ancient concept of forged iron snips - larger ones were once used for sheep shearing. These durable, functional, and beautiful snips are rustically forged from one piece of steel so they will never break (!!). They're slim with a blade under 3" (making them approved for TSA travel) and happily good for only one thing – snipping yarn & thread. Each snip/scissor comes with a natural vegetable-tanned leather protective cover.

Cocoknits - a knitting pattern and tool company - was created by Oakland, California-based Julie Weisenberger. Over the years she has developed and perfected a unique top-down, seamless method of sweater knitting called the Cocoknits Method, and created a line of tools that make the process of knitting and making easier and more beautiful.
