Wildflower is handmade from strips of soft, cotton voile fabric. The fabrics are all printed in traditional Indian paisley and flower designs. The yarn is a happy mix of old world India prints paired with modern colors. When the craftswomen we work with receive the fabric, they then cut it into strips and knot it together to make each skein.
Wildflower yarn is perfect for warm weather projects or knitters with wool allergies. We also adore this yarn for weaving! The fabric is lightweight, so even though it calls for a larger needle size, the end result is still light and airy...and quick to knit, crochet, or weave! The raw edges and knots are part of the rustic, handmade aesthetic we love - expect some fraying.
