Two At A Time Toe-Up Fleegle Heel Socks w/ Jessie Maed Designs
Knit two at a time toe-up socks with visiting designer, Jessie Mae of Jessie Maed Designs! In this class, you'll make a pair of colorblocked mini socks with a fleegle heel, two at a time. The class will cover Jeni's magic cast-on and general sock anatomy including toe shaping, foot, instep shaping, fleegle heel, and sewn bind-off. We are truly over-the-moon to welcome Jessie Mae to Philadelphia alongside our yarny Mt. Airy neighbors, Kelbourne Woolens. Please note this workshop takes place at Kelbourne Woolens - a hop, skip, and a jump (one mile) away from Wild Hand!

Skills + Materials
This is an intermediate workshop; basic knitting skills are needed (casting-on, binding-off, knitting, and purling) as well as experience with Magic Loop. Sock knitting experience is helpful, but not required. Students should plan to bring one set of 32" circular knitting needles in size US4 as well as five mini (10g or so) balls of DK weight yarn (already wound and ready-to-use) in an assortment of colors. The color variety will allow you to see where different parts of the sock start and stop, and differentiate them from one another. Jessie Mae will supply students with a mini DK weight sock pattern to follow along during class.
