Join us and go beyond the basics of Tunisian Crochet! Tunisian Crochet is often referred as the alternative to knitting. There are many Tunisian crochet stitches that resemble knit stitches and that create beautiful, unique textures and designs. In this workshop, students will go beyond (and build from) the Tunisian Simple Stitch (TSS). Using these basic TSS steps, students will learn the Half Double Tunisian Stitch (HDTS), which consists of the foundation row, forward pass, yarn over, and return pass.  Using these basic steps, students will create a 10” swatch and have an even stronger foundation to embark on more stitch techniques, designs, and textures!

Skills + Materials
This is an beginner+/intermediate workshop. Students should have basic crochet skills (foundation chain stitch, slip stitch, and yarn over) and basic Tunisian crochet skills (Tunisian Simple Stitch (TSS), which consists of the foundation row, forward pass, and return pass). This is a skills workshop (we will not be completing a project) and yarn is included in your workshop fee. Students will need to bring a Tunisian crochet hook; please plan to bring an I9.

Cancellation + Make-up Policy
We absolutely understand that things come up and you may need to cancel your registration. You may always transfer your registration to another student (just let us know in advance!). If you need to cancel your registration within one week of the workshop we are happy to offer a 50% store credit refund; cancellations made less than one week in advance will not be refunded. We are unable to offer make-ups or exchanges for missed workshop session(s).

Students get a one-time 10% student discount that is active at the first workshop session and expires two weeks following the final workshop session. You will receive your discount code at the first first session.
