This plant forward (for breathable garments) yarn has a touch of animal fiber (for a luxurious hand feel). We adore Cotton Lino from The Wandering Flock! Cotton and linen are the heroes of this 4-ply blend, and will give your garments structure and lightness. The alpaca lends a softness that's delightful to wear and amazing on your hands. The silk is there for extra luxurious drape and strength. Because of the combination of animal and plant fibers in this yarn, we have found it suitable for fingering weight through DK weight projects (just swatch first ;)
Cotton Lino is milled and dyed in Peru; all of the fiber is sustainably sourced and ethically milled as well as OEKO Tex certified. The Wandering Flock yarns are created by knitwear designer and dyer Geraldine Yang in Brooklyn, NY. This particular yarn is not hand-dyed.
