Saturday-Sunday 1/18-1/19 | 9:00AM-10:30AM
Go beyond the basics and take your tapestry weaving skills to the next level. In this workshop, you will learn oh-so-much, including how to read and create a simple pattern draft, work with shape building/joining, and use different textures to create fun, dimensional patterns
Skills + Materials
This is a beginner+/intermediate workshop; students should know how to warp their frame/tapestry looms and get started with a basic plain weave (knowing how to weave with roving is a bonus!). Students will arrive to the workshop with a Tapestry Loom (of any size/brand) warped and ready-to-weave (the workshop fee does not include a loom, just the yarn). The workshop fee includes all of the yarn you need to get weaving. Please plan to bring your warped loom and weaving tools. If you need a loom and/or tools we recommend the Funem Small Loom and Funem Tool Pack alongside a sturdy warp cotton like this.
