Join us for an eight-week (four-session) knit sweater workshop with Gina! Over the course of eight weeks students will knit a sweater; super for folks embarking on a first or first in awhile sweater project or seasoned sweater makers that love this design and want to work through the pattern in good company. There's something about working through a big project, like a sweater, with a group of fellow makers and a real good teacher ... it brings a whole other layer of support and accountability and joy to the experience.

We adore Chicago-based designer, Jessie Maed and her fresh, wearable, size-inclusive, and real cute designs! The Sunset Sweatshirt is a simple oversized pullover featuring a slightly dropped shoulder and oversized sleeve for a cozy knit with a relaxed sweatshirt fit. The Sunset Sweatshirt is knit seamlessly from the top down with shoulder short row shaping & slightly tapered sleeves. Stitches are picked up for the sleeves and neckline. This is the perfect staple fall sweater for layering-up. The pattern includes sizes for finished bust measurements of anywhere from 28" to 60" and also incudes instructions for optional bust darts.

Skills + Materials
This is an intermediate workshop; students should be able to cast-on, knit, purl, bind-off, increase, and decrease. Gina will cover knitting in the round (previously experience is great but not required) as well as German Short Rows, picking-up stitches, selecting a size, and of course reading through a sweater knitting pattern. Workshop supplies are not included in the workshop fee; you will need to purchase yarn, needles, and notions for the workshop. Our team will be ready-at-hand to help you select your size and supplies in advance of your workshop (you can pop-by anytime we are open and we can help you with the supply selection!) so that your re ready to jump right in during session #1.

Cancellation + Make-up Policy
We absolutely understand that things come up and you may need to cancel your registration. You may always transfer your registration to another student (just let us know in advance!). If you need to cancel your registration within one week of the workshop we are happy to offer a 50% store credit refund; cancellations made less than one week in advance will not be refunded. We are unable to offer make-ups or exchanges for missed workshop session(s).

Student Discount
Students get a one-time 10% student discount that is active at the first workshop session and expires two weeks following the final workshop session. You will receive your discount code at the first first session.
