The new Kiwi 3 is lightweight (just 12 lbs.) and has folding treadles, a timber veneered 17.5" MDF wheel, a three speed whorl, and a wooden threading hook- a super wheel for both new and experienced spinners alike!

The folding treadles are super convenient travel and storage and the timber veneered MDF wheel with ball bearings ensure smooth, silent spinning. With a three speed whorl you have 5.5, 7.5 and 9.5:1 flyer ratios. The double treadle is mounted on polyurethane hinges for effortless treadling. The sliding hook flyer offers frictionless yarn guides and a 10mm (⅜ in) orifice

Each wheel includes three large capacity (4-5oz) bobbins, which are quick and easy to change with a snap-in front flyer bearing. This wheel also has a built-in lazy kate. There is scotch tension for precise tension adjustment Assembling is required (and quick + easy to do no your own with the Allen key that comes along with the Kiwi 3). You have the option a Lacquered or Natural (No Lacquer).
