This workshop is for kiddos age 8+ that want to take their beginner crochet skills to the next level! Our Wild Hand Manager and teaching artist, Yolanda Booker, has years of experience working with and teaching children of all ages. She is patient, warm, fun, and will meet any kiddo where they are in their learning process.

Teaching Artist
With over 40+ years of experience as a maker, Yolanda is known for her creative handmade knitted and crocheted accessories. She enjoys sharing her creative passion through teaching (at Wild Hand and other places!) and coaching. She is skilled at mending and offers mending services for knit and crocheted items.

Skills + Materials
This is a beginner+ workshop and previous crochet experience is needed to participate! Students should be 8+ and able to do the chain stitch. Workshop supplies are included in the fee; students will get a new crochet hook (to keep!), a darning needle, and the chance to pick their yarn color(s) for a small scarf project.

Cancellation + Make-up Policy
We absolutely understand that things come up and you may need to cancel your registration. You may always transfer your registration to another student (just let us know in advance!). If you need to cancel your registration within one week of the workshop we are happy to offer a 50% store credit refund; cancellations made less than one week in advance will not be refunded. We are unable to offer make-ups or exchanges for missed workshop session(s).

Student Discount
Students get a one-time 10% student discount that is active at the first workshop session and expires two weeks following the final workshop session. You will receive your discount code at the first first session.
