Take your Inkle Loom weaving to the next level using weaving cards to create complex patterns. Also referred to as Tablet weaving, card weaving allows you to create complicated patterns without picking up individual warp threads throughout your weaving. In this two-session workshop you will learn how to warp your Inkle loom using weaving cards instead of heddles, and manipulate the cards to create stunning patterns!

Teaching Artist
Bridget Flynn is a local (just a few blocks from the shop!) textile artist. She has been selling handwoven textiles at various craft events including the Waldorf School Holiday Bazaar and the Mt. Airy Village Fair. Bridget has always been fascinated with creating with fiber and learned to crochet before she learned to read. Since then she has become a knitter, a spinner, and finally a weaver. She spends many hours a day designing and creating; continuing to be awed by the possibilities revealed by the craft and her fellow crafters.

Skills + Materials
This is a beginner+ workshop and previous Inkle loom weaving experience is best. Your workshop supplies are included in the fee; you will borrow an Inkle loom and cards to work on your weaving project and will have the chance to take home your project at the end of the second class session.

Cancellation + Make-up Policy
We absolutely understand that things come up and you may need to cancel your registration. You may always transfer your registration to another student (just let us know in advance!). If you need to cancel your registration within one week of the workshop we are happy to offer a 50% store credit refund; cancellations made less than one week in advance will not be refunded. We are unable to offer make-ups or exchanges for missed workshop session(s).

Student Discount
Students get a one-time 10% student discount that is active at the first workshop session and expires two weeks following the final workshop session. You will receive your discount code at the first first session.
