We adore Farmers Daughter Fibers and Oh Dang! DK is a 90% Suri Alpaca and 10% Silk that is deliciously soft, fun, and beautifully hand-dyed. Blended with silk for strength, Oh Dang! DK adds a fluffy halo to what you are stitching. A great alternative to those who are sensitive to Mohair but still want to get the feathery texture. We love the high Alpaca content on this yarn and the way it is spun up a bit more like a bouclé yarn. Please note that the colors transcend onto this fiber in unique ways; the silk sometimes picks up different shades and color tones than the Suri Alpaca. This can result in a subtle variegated look in the solid colorways (that we love!) which is a bit less obvious when knit/crocheted up. Oh and Oh Dang! DK pairs really well with the Farmers Daughter Fibers Juicy DK.
