We adore these Breed Exploration Starter Packs from our amazing (and local!) friend, dyer, spinner, and carder, Keira Wiggins. Keira created the Breed Exploration Starter Kits for new and experiences spinners to get a feel for the wool from six different breeds of sheep. This is a fun way to dig deeper into your spinning or felting practice and start to explore the unique qualities of some of our favorite breeds! This pack goes great alongside The Field Guide to Fleece 100 Sheep Breeds and How To Use Their Fibers by Carol Ekarius and Deborah Robson.
Each starter pack includes 20g of undyed fiber from the following breeds: Blue Faced Leicester (BFL), Corriedale, Merino, Polwarth, Shetland, Superwash Merino.
