Ready to take your beginner wheel spinning skills to the next level?! Maybe you've tinkered on your own or joined us for a beginner wheel spinning workshop ... either way you're ready to go beyond the most basics to start learning how to make the yarn you want. During this workshop, you will hone in on your drafting technique, treadling tips, plying techniques, and tips for consistency as well as how your wheel parts work and can impact the yarn you create. You will also learn how to care for and use your wheel. Students do not need to have a wheel to participate (but if you do have one bring it along!) - this is a great way to continue to explore if spinning yarn on a wheel is right for you through watching demonstrations and testing out your skills on the shop wheels.

Skills + Materials
This is a beginner workshop and no previous experience is needed to participate. If you do have a spinning wheel or access to one, you can use this class to (re)orient yourself so bring your wheel along! Students without a spinning wheel will have a chance to try our shop wheels. Workshop supplies are included in the fee - you will have plenty of fiber to play with in class and take home! All students receive a 10% student discount, which can be used on supplies and even big equipment if you are interested in purchasing a wheel.

Cancellation + Make-up Policy
We absolutely understand that things come up and you may need to cancel your registration. You may always transfer your registration to another student (just let us know in advance!). If you need to cancel your registration within one week of the workshop we are happy to offer a 50% store credit refund; cancellations made less than one week in advance will not be refunded. We are unable to offer make-ups or exchanges for missed workshop session(s).

Student Discount
Students get a one-time 10% student discount that is active at the first workshop session and expires two weeks following the final workshop session. You will receive your discount code at the first first session.
