Mungo yarn is a delight for all seasons (and we especially love it for those warmer months) from Retrosaria Rosa Pomar. Mungo is made from recycled wool and recycled cotton, and is entirely spun from pre-consumer waste generated by Portuguese spinning mills. The wool used in Mungo is sourced in Portugal and/or Spain. Milled and dyed in Portugal. This 4ply Wortsed weight yarn has 240 yards per 100g skein and knits, crochets, and weaves up beautifully in its heathered/flecked color palette.

Retrosaria Rosa Pomar makes minimally processed, heritage wool yarns from Portugal. Their yarns are created in collaboration with small manufacturers, breeders associations, and shepherds. All Rosa Pomar yarns are non-superwash, not bleached, have no silicone-based softeners, and mulesing is not practiced in Portugal.
