Rauma Garn's Petunia yarn is a very high quality DK weight 100% Pima Cotton, one of the world's finest cotton fibers. Pima cotton is an extra-long staple cotton that grows on the northern coast of Peru. Rauma worked closely with producers in Peru to develop Petunia with the same high standards you would expect out of any yarn from Rauma Garn. Petunia is truly one of the best Pima Cotton yarns out there.

Petunia knits, crochets, weaves, and knots up beautifully (and can be machine washed!). Your garments, accessories, and homegoods won't stretch or grow in the way other cottons often do thanks to the construction of multiple very thin strands of cotton that are pre-stretched before being plied together. Garments and home goods made form Petunia are super soft and comfortable.

Nestled among high mountains and a beautiful fjord, Rauma Ullvarefabrikk is today one of the few woolen factories that supply Norwegian woolen yarn produced in Norway (and has been doing it since 1927).
