From our local friends at Philia Fiber Co., Kaleidoscope is a super soft & squishy, 19.5 micron extra-fine quality 4-ply superwash 100% Merino wool. Ideal for all types of items: sweaters, blankets, socks, shawls, kiddo garments, scarves & cowls. We adore working with hand-dyed yarns in weaving projects on floor, tabletop, rigid heddle, and frame looms - the one-of-a-kind nature of the dye process creates beautiful color shifts that emerge in fun an unexpected ways on the loom.
Hand-dyed in small batches. There are no dyelots for Kaleidoscope Merino. Due to the hand-dyed technique used on this yarn, no two skeins will be identical and the yarn received may not be the exact yarn pictured. Please be sure to to purchase enough to finish your project and alternate two or more skeins every other row/round when knitting/crocheting to ensure even color distribution.
