Ever found yourself interested in the art of cross-stitch but didn’t know where to start? Then you stumbled into the right place! In this beginner friendly class you will learn the basics of cross-stitch; everything from how to read the charts, create stitches, what cloth to use and thread management. All while using a very cute and fun cherry kit from our friends at Cotton Clara!

Teaching Artist
Gina Giles is a painter and fiber artist with a background in photography and digital art. Gina graduated from Moore College of Art & Design where she studied Photography and Digital Arts. Drawing inspiration from her wide-ranging inner states and her peaceful communion with nature, Gina manifests a vibrant representation of her reality as an African American woman.

Skills + Materials
This is a beginner workshop and no previous experience is needed to participate. Workshop supplies are included in the fee. Students will receive a Cotton Clara kit to work through the class instruction; you can keep everything in your kit to continue working at home!

Cancellation + Make-up Policy
We absolutely understand that things come up and you may need to cancel your registration. You may always transfer your registration to another student (just let us know in advance!). If you need to cancel your registration within one week of the workshop we are happy to offer a 50% store credit refund; cancellations made less than one week in advance will not be refunded. We are unable to offer make-ups or exchanges for missed workshop session(s).

Student Discount
Students get a one-time 10% student discount that is active at the first workshop session and expires two weeks following the final workshop session. You will receive your discount code at the first first session.
