::virtual:: Color Theory Basics
This product is currently sold out.
This virtual mid-day, two-session workshop is a gentle invitation to deepen and challenge how you see color. In session one, we’ll talk about the role color plays in your life and see how three basic colors - red/blue/yellow - create a full spectrum by contrasting and complementing each other across the color wheel. Your homework is to explore your wardrobe, décor, and fiber crafts with a different eye and sense of discovery. In session two, you’ll show us examples of what you’ve learned about your use of color, the palette that felt safe for you, and what changes you might now consider. This workshop is meant to embolden you to experiment and take inspiration from the world of color that surrounds us.
This is a beginner workshop - no previous experience or equipment required. Workshop registration includes all of the thoughtfully sourced materials that you need to participate - in this case a color wheel - and will be available for contactless pick-up or delivery before the workshop start date. We happily ship worldwide and shipping costs are not included in the workshop fee. We will be in touch 2-3 weeks before your workshop begins about arranging to receive your workshop supply bundle. All Wild Hand workshop students also get a one-time 15% discount for use during and up to two weeks following the last class session.
Workshops meet virtually via Zoom - links and passcodes will arrive with your workshop order confirmation (you will receive a confirmation email for your full order and then separately an email with just workshop details).
Cancellation Policy :: We know and understand that schedules change! Wild Hand will happily offer a store credit refund for cancellations made a week or more in advance. For cancellations made less than a week in advance we can offer a 50% store credit refund. We do this so that we can still pay the teaching artist for your spot in the class.
