About this experience
Join us in learning the ins-and-outs of making a colorwork Scottish tam (like a beret but worn straight on the head). In this super fun class you will learn oh-so-many skills, including:
+ confidently knit with two colors holding one in each hand
+ decrease for the 'crown' while working kaleidoscopic patterning
+ two-color corrugated ribbing & adding color accents with duplicate stitch
+ finishing and blocking to make the perfect size and shape hat
Lori has admired Scottish knitted tam (beret-style hat) and other colorwork knitting techniques for many years, and when she finally started making them she couldn't stop! They look more complicated than they are and are oh-so-intriguing to knit.
This is a 2-SESSION workshop that meets on all of the following dates (apologies for the confusion - our event booking app is working on making this clearer in the future!). By signing up for this $120 workshop you are signing up for 5 hours of class over the following dates.

Saturday - DECEMBER 14 // 9-11:30AM
