Join us in welcoming Hilary J. Corts from Rowdy Cowlick to Wild Hand! Hilary will be working out of our back-office offering custom word and flash deisgn embroidery during Local Yarn Store Day. Bring your t-shirts, bandanas (bring that Wild Hand 4th birthday bandana yo!), tote bags, sweatshirts, and pretty much anything that isn't a super lightweight cloth.
This listing is for one embroidered piece of clothing/cloth/accesory on April 29th anytime 12PM-4PM (this is when Hilary will be popping-up shop!). If you'd like to have more than one piece embroidered that's super - just add more registrations/tickets to your order. Embroidery slots for the day are limited and each "ticket" gets you one embroidered piece with a word or a flash design. There will be a menu of flash designs to choose from (we won't be able to do designs outside of words and the oh-so-fabulous pre-selected flash designs) like hearts, stars, smilies, yarn, crochet hooks, knitting needles, and moths.
Weather permitting, we will have an outdoor hang area behind the shop with music, drinks, snacks, and good yarny company. You can plan to hang-out in the back while Hilary works on your piece.

Rowdy Cowlick was born from a passion for slowness and detail in a world of mass production. Each Rowdy Cowlick piece is created on a hand-operated, non-digitized vintage Singer chainstitch embroidery machine. Working on this kind of machine allows for the creation of one-of-a-kind pieces while drawing on components of several artistic practices. Focusing on one garment or wall piece at a time produces truly unique, heirloom quality pieces.
