About this experience
In this class, participants will learn basic sweater composition and construction while they create their first (or first in a while) sweater! They will learn how to knit a gauge swatch, picking up stitches, M1 increases, working on circular needles, and placing stitches on hold. Students should already know how to knit, purl, cast-on, and bind-off. We will use Scout yarn from local favorites - Kelbourne Woolens - and each student will get to pick their colors for this two-color colorblock "Chris" pullover sweater designed by the fine folks over at Pom Pom Quarterly.
Students will also get a copy of the Knit How to bring home with them for reference and additional beyond-beginner patterns to try!!
