Learn how to introduce colors into your projects using Intarsia and Fair Isle colorwork knitting techniques!

11/16 | 6:30PM-8:30PM

Learn how to introduce colors into your projects using Intarsia and Fair Isle techniques. In this workshop, you will learn how to knit with several colors in one project. Students will leave with a basic understand of the skills needed to do colorwork knitting and a sample - you will be creating a design swatch using many colors!

Skills + Materials
This is an intermediate workshop. Students should have basic knitting skills (cast-on, knit stitch, purl stitch, and bind-off). Please bring along a circular US7 (4.5MM) knitting needle (we'll have a handful that can be borrowed during the workshop). We will also provide lots of colors of worsted weight yarn for making your sample.

COVID Policy
In order to create a safe, inclusive learning space we're asking that all students, teaching artists, and staff wear masks at all times while they are indoors as well as show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test.

Cancellation + Make-up Policy
We absolutely understand that things come up and you may need to cancel your registration. We've done our best to create a cancellation policy that honors how fickle life can be alongside our financial commitment to our staff and teaching artists. If you need to cancel your registration we are happy to offer a 50% store credit refund for cancellations made two weeks in advance of your workshop date. Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds for cancellations made less than two weeks in advance. We are also unable to offer make-ups or exchanges for missed workshops.

Community Commitment
We're looking forward to sharing space with you! If you haven't had a chance to read our Community Commitment, pop over to the website and read about how we agree to share space. Feel free to reach out to the shop if you have any questions along the way - we're excited to welcome you wherever you may be on the learning curve.
