Get a little wild with this beautiful small batch hand-dyed yarn from Maryland-based Havirland. Made from their Pax sock base, this 2ply sock/fingering is machine-washable and includes a bit of nylon for durability. Havirland's self-striping sock yarn comes in 10 gram (40 yard)) mini "gobstopper" balls - you'll need 10 balls (400 yards total) for a pair of adult-size socks. Each ball is unique with a ranges of self-striping colorways.

Havirland is based in southern Maryland and led/dyed by ever-talented Carol Ocker, who is eclectically-inspired by late night B-movie marathons, horror, colors found in nature, and natural history.

Wild Hand hand-selects your order. We do our best to send along a mix of colors.

A note about care: Although yarn is machine washable, I recommend hand washing in a mild soap (such as Soak) to prolong the life of garment. Lay flat to dry. Color bleeding may occur during the first few washes.
