Join us for this fun, colorful crochet technique workshop! Learn how to make the Classic Granny Square and techniques for joining your granny squares. Students will learn all about color changing using three contrasting colors, square construction tips & tricks, techniques for beautifully and functionally joining squares, and ideas for what to use granny squares for in your projects! 

Skills + Materials
This is a beginner+/intermediate workshop - students should have very basic crochet skills (chain stitch, slip stitch, and double crochet). Your workshop fee includes all of supplies you will need to participate - a selection of colorful (and local!) Kelbourne Woolens Germantown worsted weight yarns and a LYKKE hardwood crochet hook. This is a techniques class and you will not be completing a project rather working on samples and skills.

Cancelation + Make-up Policy
We absolutely understand that things come up and you may need to cancel your registration. We've done our best to create a cancellation policy that honors how fickle life can be alongside our financial commitment to our staff and teaching artists. First, you may always transfer your registration to another student (just let us know in advance!). If you need to cancel your registration we are happy to offer a 50% store credit refund for cancellations made two weeks in advance of your workshop date. Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds for cancellations made less than two weeks in advance. We are also unable to offer make-ups or exchanges for missed workshops.

Student Discount
Students get a one-time 10% student discount that is active at the first workshop session and expires two weeks following the final workshop session. When you arrive at your workshop there will be a QR code to scan and provide feedback on your workshop experience. After the short feedback survey the discount code will appear.
