CROCHET: MULTI-COLOR GEOMETRIC GRANNY SQUARELearn how to peg a circle into a square and create a multi-colored Geometric Granny Square!
SCHEDULE:10/27 | 6:30-8:30PM
Join us for this fun, colorful crochet technique workshop! Learn how to make a multi-colored geometric Granny Square. Pegging a circle into a square produces an eye-catching effect with multiple colors as the border. We love this square for matching with other Granny Square designs. You will learn all of the skills needed to make this sweet, versatile square! Students will leave the workshop with a sample of this fun crochet technique.
Skills + Materials
This is a beginner+/intermediate workshop. Students should have basic crochet skills (chain stitch, double crochet stitch, and slip stitch) as well as general knowledge of working in rounds and making color changes (we will go over the last two skills in class as well). Please bring along a G crochet hook (we'll have a handful that can be borrowed if you don't have a G at home) and we will provide lots of colors of DK and light worsted weight yarn for making your sample.
In order to create a safe, inclusive learning space we're asking that all students, teaching artists, and staff wear masks at all times while they are indoors as well as show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test.
Cancellation + Make-up Policy
We absolutely understand that things come up and you may need to cancel your registration. We've done our best to create a cancellation policy that honors how fickle life can be alongside our financial commitment to our staff and teaching artists. If you need to cancel your registration we are happy to offer a 50% store credit refund for cancellations made two weeks in advance of your workshop date. Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds for cancellations made less than two weeks in advance. We are also unable to offer make-ups or exchanges for missed workshops.
We're looking forward to sharing space with you! If you haven't had a chance to read our Community Commitment, pop over to the website and read about how we agree to share space. Feel free to reach out to the shop if you have any questions along the way - we're excited to welcome you wherever you may be on the learning curve.
