Explore the creation of tapestry weaving from start to finish with teaching artist, Melonie Wallace. This is a beginner workshop and no experience is necessary. The workshop fee includes all of the supplies you need to participate - a student-size Fūnem Studio loom, shuttles, a weaving needle, and a cute little weaving comb from Loome as well as plenty of yarn and fiber to play with as you learn the techniques and tricks to hitting a creative flow with weaving on a frame loom. In this workshop you will learn oh-so-much including how to warp, understand your weaving tools, create patterns, select materials and colors, and take your piece off the loom.

Workshops meet in-person indoors at Wild Hand. In order to create a safe, inclusive learning space we're asking all students, teaching artists, and staff to wear masks at all times while they are indoors. Wild Hand students get a one-time 15% off discount code for use during and up to two weeks following their last workshop session (you will receive the discount code at your workshop).

We absolutely understand that things come up and you may need to cancel your workshop registration. We've done our best to create a cancellation policy that honors how fickle life can be alongside a commitment to our teaching artists. If you need to cancel your workshop registration we are happy to offer a 50% store credit refund for cancellations made at least two weeks in advance. Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds for cancellations made less than two weeks in advance.
