Join the amazing Lavanya Patricella and learn the basics of brioche knitting. Students will start a DK-weight version of the delightful Garter Snake Hat following Lavanya's included pattern. You will learn all the basics in this class along with how to properly incorporate the garter stitch into your brioche work. We are over-the-moon to welcome Lavanya back to Wild Hand!!

Skills & Materials
This is an intermediate workshop and students will most enjoy the time if they have some basic knitting skills (cast-on, knit, purl, increase, decrease, and bind-off). This class is open to beginner and experienced brioche knitters alike. The workshop fee includes the pattern that will be taught in class. Students should plan to bring two contrasting colors of DK weight yarn (100 yards of each color) as well as a US5 (3.75mm) 16" circular knitting needle. There is a little bit of homework for this workshop, which will be detailed in your registration confirmation email.

Cancelation + Make-up Policy
We absolutely understand that things come up and you may need to cancel your registration. We've done our best to create a cancellation policy that honors how fickle life can be alongside our financial commitment to our staff and teaching artists. First, you may always transfer your registration to another student (just let us know in advance!). If you need to cancel your registration we are happy to offer a 50% store credit refund for cancellations made two weeks in advance of your workshop date. Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds for cancellations made less than two weeks in advance. We are also unable to offer make-ups or exchanges for missed workshops.

Student Discount
Students get a one-time 10% student discount that is active at the first workshop session and expires two weeks following the final workshop session. When you arrive at your workshop there will be a QR code to scan and provide feedback on your workshop experience. After the short feedback survey the discount code will appear.
