Learn how to spin using a drop spindle. It’s FUN ... it’s PORTABLE ... and a FRACTION of the cost of a spinning wheel. Take the first steps and learn the basics by taking this WONDERFUL class!
Price includes thoughtfully sourced materials (no additional materials fees). You will leave the class with your own drop spindle and fiber to get you started. Students also get 15% off in the shop while they are workshop students (for multi-session/week workshops this discount applies to the entire duration of workshop).
All classes meet at our shop at 606 Carpenter Lane, Philadelphia PA 19119 - in the heart of Mt. Airy Village. There is plenty of free on-street parking as well as High Point Cafe and Weaver's Way Co-op steps away for your food and beverage needs. Smaller kiddos and dogs are also always welcome to hang in the shop!

THERESA HILL (@ewe_nited_states_of_fiber + @orionchika) is an RN, Army veteran, and fiber artist from Newark, DE. She has been knitting since childhood and has spinning since 2014. Theresa is also a local fiber dye artist and teaches knitting, spinning, crochet, and dyeing at local fiber festivals and retreats. Theresa is a contributor to PLY magazine's advisory board. She is the owner of Ewe-Nited States of Fiber and a wife and mom to three sons.
