Beautifully hand-dyed sock blanks from Theresa Hill (from the Wild Hand team and Ewe-Nited States of Fiber) are made nearby in Delaware and absolutely stunning! Sock blanks are machine-knit fabric (not socks!) that create a fun, versatile base for dyeing. Things you can do on a sock blank differ from what a dyer can do with a hank of yarn. To work with a sock blank you just unravel and knit with them right from the rectangular piece of pre-knit fabric. It's super fun to see how the hand-dyed colorways translate to your project.
Colors from blank-to-blank and lot-to-lot will be similar, but not identical. If you're working on a larger project, buy enough to complete your project and alternate skeins to get a more blended piece overall.
