Little Free Fiber Library
Our Little Free Fiber Library has become go-to neighborhood fiber exchange (even Martha Stewart thought it was kinda nifty!!). When we opened the library in February 2020 we had no idea how big the outpouring would be - folks from all over the world reached out wanting to donate their yarn, needles, hooks, books, notions, and fiber to the library ... and they did.
Every month we release 10-15 Little Free Fiber Library bundles (as long as supplies last). The bundles are FREE all you need to do is cover the shipping to yourself or a fiber-loving person in your life. We will happily include a note from you in the package if it's a gift just add that to your cart at checkout. Please limit your order to one bundle/person each month if possible.
Each bundle includes about one pound of yarn and we will do our best to accommodate color preferences - let us know some colors you like. The bundle will be a mix of yarns, colors, brands, textures. Thank you for being a part of this fiber community both near and far - we're oh-so-happy you're here!
We are oh-so-grateful for all of the generous donations (from around the globe!) to our Little Free Fiber Library. Our basement is full and the donations keep coming. Thank you!! If you'd like to donate fiber craft tools, equipment, books, yarn, or thread feel free to pop it in the mali to 606 Carpenter Lane, Philadelphia, PA 19119. For local folks dropping off donations you can bring them directly to the alleyway behind the shop we have a new bin dedicated to donations. Please be sure to first check you donation for any signs of bugs or moths (if you spot any that bag of yarn should just go to the trash or can hang out in a freezer for 72 hours first). Put you donation in a well sealed plastic garbage bag.
