This is an in-person workshop that will meet (mostly) outside. Join us and learn how to wash, prep, and spin your own yarn with the fiber you prepare during class. During this workshop you will be in control of the entire fiber process from sheep to yarn! You will learn the skills to process and blend fiber as well as spin your own yarn on a drop spindle so it's ready-to-use for your next weaving, knitting, or crochet project. After this workshop you'll find you won't want to pass up that absolutely gorgeous fleece at the next fiber festival. This is a beginner workshop and there is no previous experience needed to participate. The workshop fee includes materials.
In order to create a safe, inclusive learning space we're asking all students, teaching artists, and staff wear masks at all times while they are indoors. We are also asking students and teaching artists to show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test (can be at-home, rapid, or PCR) within 2 days of their workshop session.
We absolutely understand that things come up and you may need to cancel your registration. We've done our best to create a cancellation policy that honors how fickle life can be alongside a commitment to our staff and teaching artists. If you need to cancel your registration we are happy to offer a 50% store credit refund for cancellations made at least two weeks in advance. Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds for cancellations made less than two weeks in advance.
