The ultra-soft superwash Merino in a quick-knit gauge calls for next-to-the-skin wear like cowls and hats. Each colorway of Serpentina is named after an accomplished woman in history, whether she's made headway in the arts, education, navigation, human rights, medicine, and on.  

Manos del Uruguay is a women-artisan-owned cooperative that has been creating yarn since 1968, founded to provide an opportunity for rural women in Uruguay to gain financial independence while maintaining community and family traditions. Every skein is an opportunity to help a Uruguayan woman support her family.
