Quantity

Ode is an absolutely deliciously soft, drapey, beautiful 100% baby alpaca yarn from the fine folk at Gist Yarn. It’s super soft and luxurious for knitting, crochet, and weaving. This is a wonderful yarn for garments close to the skin or for the more sensitive bodies - like cowls, scarves, shawls, throws, and baby blankets. Ode works well for warp and weft and can be used on a rigid heddle, table, or floor loom as well as with knitting needles or crochet hooks.

Alpaca is considered hypoallergenic because it is lanolin-free, providing a great alternative for those who are sensitive to wool. It is also less ‘scratchy’ than some wool variations. Ode comes in hefty project-quantity cones!
