Local artist Emily is seen here wearing Shay Johnson’s As If Tee, knit by Wild Hand teaching artist Jess Ballance in The Wandering Flock Worsted and Lichen and Lace Marsh Mohair. Emily, a craft educator, DJ, and founder of The Art Dept. and High Pastures, an artist retreat and cultural conservancy offering respite, collaboration, and inclusive space for artistic exploration. Emily has been a teaching artist from Wild Hand from the day we opened shop.
