These sweet needle felting kits from east coast folks PetiteFelts are perfect for beginners and include all of the materials needed to make the project, as well as thorough instructions!

Each kit includes two 38 gauge felting needles, one foam work block, wool needed to complete the project, a sweet little booklet with very detailed project instructions alongside beautiful illustrations, a diagram in the back of the booklet to use as a guide for size and shape, and supplies for any accessories.

Warning: Due to small parts and very sharp needles, the recommended age for this kit is age 10 and up. Needle felting is a process in which barbed needles are used to sculpt wool fiber into various forms.

PetitFelts was launched in 2011 by Jocelyn Gayle Krodman, an artist living and working in the Hudson Valley. Jocelyn began to create her pieces after falling in love with the needle felting process: a sculpture technique that involves tangling wool fibers with a barbed needle. Since then, PetitFelts has aimed to create quality goods that are unique and fun, yet sophisticated. Over the years, the PetitFelts collection has evolved to include a collection of fair trade goods and a line of kits born out of Jocelyn's love of teaching the art of needle felting. All products are designed and assembled by Jocelyn in her Kingston, NY studio.
